2013

February 23, The Sirens performed at the "Cherry Tree Massacre" hosted by the Georgetown Chimes! A Cappella groups from all over the Northeast were there to perform! 

​​​Over the holiday weekend, February 15-18, we went on TOUR in NEW YORK CITY! We performed at the NBC Jewish Community Center in Manhattan, sang in Times Square, AND reunited with Alumni to celebrate GW Siren's 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!

​​On February 9, We had a blast singing the National Anthem at GW's Homecoming Basketball Game

​​We are so excited for what this new year and semester will bring--new music, new exciting events and performances, and of course,wonderful new memories!

​This first week has already been filled with Sirens Love! ​​

We held auditions and added 3 new members to our Sirens Sisterhood! Welcome Erica, Sueah, and ​​Lauren!!! 

On January 21, We had the privilege of performing ​​at The GW Inaugural Ball!  We all had an amazing time!

​​​​​​​​So far, we have had a great first semester full of performing, bonding, and general acapella love. We have been busy performing at venues in the area and singing with other a cappella groups.

On Thursday, September 20th, we won a battle against another a cappella group with a cash prize of $1,000! We were featured at a VIP screening of the new movie, Pitch Perfect.  A big thanks to everyone who came out to support us. If you enjoy a cappella and great comedy, you should definitely see Pitch Perfect!

​​This semester, we took 3 new babies! So exciting! Give a warm welcome to Sumner Byrne, Pooja Yadav, and Alina Polishuk.

We are very proud to say that we are the 2008, 2010 and 2012 GW "Battle of the A Cappella" champions!
